CTC Mechanical recently completed a rooftop unit (RTU) replacement for a commercial property in Florida.
The outdated R-410A system was replaced with a new high-efficiency rooftop package unit using R-454B refrigerant, improving comfort, energy performance, and sustainability.
- Safe removal of existing RTU and proper refrigerant recovery per EPA standards.
- Installation of a new energy-efficient R-454B rooftop unit with custom curb adapter.
- Connection and sealing of existing ductwork to ensure optimal airflow.
- Electrical setup, BMS integration, and system startup testing.
- Refrigerant charge verification, drain line installation, and performance balancing.
