Project Scope
CTC Mechanical successfully completed the installation of a new Trane rooftop HVAC package unit (RTU) at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The project replaced an aging rooftop system to deliver improved cooling performance, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability for the educational facility.
- Safe removal of the existing rooftop unit and recovery of refrigerant per EPA standards.
- Installation of a new Trane high-efficiency rooftop unit with proper curb alignment and duct connection.
- Electrical and control wiring installation with complete startup testing.
- Condensate drain system installation using insulated PVC piping with vibration-isolated supports.
- System commissioning, refrigerant charge verification, and performance balancing.
